Updated compliance verification requirements for automotive tires, wheels, and rims listings
We’re introducing additional compliance verification requirements for automotive tires, wheels, and rims listings on Amazon’s US online store (Amazon.com) to better protect customers.
As required by federal law and existing Amazon policy, these products must comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Starting December 7, 2022, we may contact you via email to collect documentation showing proof of compliance. You’ll be given a minimum of 30 days to provide the required documents.
You can find required documents and due dates for each listing in your Manage Your Compliance dashboard on the Account Health page on Seller Central. If you don’t provide documentation by the requested date, your listing may be removed until your documentation is uploaded.
If you don’t receive an email, no action is required.
For more information on compliance requirements and how to submit documentation, go to Automotive tires, wheels, and rims.
For more information on FMVSS, go to NHTSA FMVSS (49 CFR Part 571) and review the NHTSA New Manufacturers Handbook.

The time to do this is not during the massively busy Christmas season.
Your company is incapable of actually planning ahead and acting in a professional manner. Normal people give notice and do not dump these problems on people 3 weeks before Christmas.
