Read onlyI am getting a bunch of adjustments from FedEx when using One Rate. Before I used it I even asked on this forum and in support cases. Amazon continued to say we can use our own boxes with One Rate and now we are getting "adjustments"
So now what? Is Amazon going to reimburse us?
@KJ_Amazon
What are the adjustments? Are you getting bumped up to the next One Rate tier or are you not being billed as One Rate at all? I am shipping One Rate in my own packaging daily and it has been working fine for me except for one package that got musmeasured which I got FedEx to correct (shipped on my own FedEx account.) Are you inputting the actual outside dims for the box or just inputting whatever size is printed on the box?
@Seller_BnVVYb6FZYIJzWe were told by our fedex rep to use our own boxes years ago. Never had a problem. Now Amazon's UPS rates are magically besting One Rate. med rate box for fedex at 17.25 was UPS 2nd day air for $24. Now UPS is beating the rate and is like $15 and some change.
Same, did you get reimbursed? Who can help? I have had no help with this and charged a lot of money for these "adjustments" $213.00 to ship a $39.99 order 2 hours distance. This is ludicrous. Robbery
Hello @Seller_BnVVYb6FZYIJz You are correct that sellers can use their own packaging for FedEx One Rate shipments.
Update to FedEx shipping methods on Amazon Buy Shipping
"While FedEx One Rate has already been available on Amazon Buy Shipping, it's more accessible now. As long as your package dimensions are within the One Rate package type range, One Rate shipping options will be available to you for predictable shipping costs that don't require calculating."
If you are receiving carrier adjustments for your One Rate shipments, the most likely reason is that the carrier-audited dimensions are not within the One Rate limits.
In some cases, Seller Central is not displaying updated carrier-audited information. For FedEx, the online tracking for these shipments will show updated dimensions and weights. We are investigating the issue.

Don't ever use FedEx to ship anything. They ripped me off for a $166 adjustment and Amazon backed them up. Disgraceful Company.
