These sellers are in the wrong category, likely because it's an easier one to try to get best seller in. When a complaint is made it is automatically rejected for some reason, so have to go through the forum to get help.

In my experience, Amazon sometimes assigns products to irrelevant categories despite the seller’s best effort to set the correct browse node with the Item Type Keyword during listing creation.
For example, our ASIN B0B2FDSC3S is an accessory for large landscape watering pumps, yet it has been stuck for years in the wrong “float valve” category—suggesting it’s the type of gadget you’d find in your toilet tank. Despite our repeated attempts, Amazon won’t correct the category, so we eventually gave up.
I don’t know your market, but it seems possible those competing sellers aren’t gaming the system but are instead victims of the same faulty Amazon process that might have ignored the correct category they tried to configure.
Given that Amazon won’t correct a faulty category even when the listing owner requests it, asking Seller Support to change competing sellers’ categories may not be a good use of your time.
