Perhaps it is time to stop using Amazon buy-shipping.

Hello @Seller_z73L1AaFhZCmr. Thank you for checking in with the seller forums.
Carrier shipping correction charges
USPS runs each package in its network through the Automated Package Verification System (APV). If USPS determines that you underpaid or overpaid for postage, or used a different package or service from what you entered when buying your label, they will automatically charge or credit your Amazon account for the difference.
If you or any seller wish to dispute USPS-adjusted shipping charges, those requests need to be submitted to seller support.
If you are disputing carrier-audited weights/dimensions, I recommend including photos or product details that support the accuracy of the original label information.
If you share that Case ID, I can monitor those cases and the progress of your disputes, and escalate the cases if warranted.

I don't know what happened to the service

Amazon is required under their agreement with USPS to provide either the Revenue Assurance ID and/or EPS Transaction ID, so you can file a dispute directly with USPS.
Or, they are required to submit the dispute themselves but must be transparent.
If you still have issues and they don't assist, I would recommend reporting them to the Post Master General's office.
Amazon by selling you a label is considered a third party merchant. That comes with compliance responsibilities on their part that they like to try not to follow.

Hello @Seller_0FiNo1iarfjnq
If sellers wish to dispute a carrier adjustment charge for a USPS shipment with postage purchased in Buy Shipping, that must be done through Seller Central. Sellers can not submit these disputes directly to USPS.
None of these charges come from Amazon. They are charges from the carriers that Amazon passes through to sellers and back to the carriers.

You probably should reach out to your legal department to have them actually look at and read Amazon's agreement with USPS.

I have mentioned this several times here and many of the sellers have shrugged or given up in disgust.
FOR EVERY TRANSACTION there has to be a 'paper trail'. Since Amamzon IS a third party to the negotiated carrier rates they receive, there have to be service level agreements and/or rules they MUST abide by.
So...If Scamazon charges a seller for a price adjustment, and UPS, USPS or FedEx have NO RECORD of this on THEIR END....who do you really think is charging these adjustments? It's CALLED THEFT!
The best part is- when challenged in court, they will have NO PROOF and the carrier can all terminate their so-called shipping agreements with Scamazon, who is using this as internal cash cow and the sellers are the ones getting the axe.

Hello @Seller_ONDn9UyWE3G3e
Carrier adjustments do not originate from Amazon. They are charges/credits from the carriers that Amazon passes through to sellers and then back to the carriers.
The most common reason I see for these adjustments is discrepancies between the original label dimensions/weight and the actual audited package details. These details are usually visible in the Seller Central transaction.
If this or any seller wishes to dispute carrier adjustments for their shipments, those disputes need to be submitted to Amazon support. As I mentioned, I recommend including photos or product details that support the accuracy of the original label information. I am still happy to monitor the case details for this or any seller and escalate the dispute if needed.

Everyone get's these. Amazon will tell you to talk to the carrier. The carrier wont talk to you because their customer is Amazon, not you.
That being said, please note.
packages must be measured from the thickest part. You must always make sure your weight and sizing is accurate. 10.01 inches is 11 inches. 16.01 ounces is 1LBS 1oz. And uneven package, the thickness is the thickest part of the package. Some packages have extra charges, depending on weight class, packaging materials and such.
IF your entered information is found to be off in the slightest, your package will be upgraded to a more expensive option and adjusted for the new dimensions. There is also a fee going to be changed, because the size was off.
Make sure to always ship from the zone you used to print the label. You cannot print a label with a return address in Texas and mail it from New York....

If a seller would like to dispute a carrier adjustment for a FedEx Ground Economy (SmartPost) shipment, this can be done directly to FedEx.
I know that sellers are sometimes given incorrect information, and we have worked with our partner teams to reduce such instances.

I just noticed the same issue with USPS shipping labels purchased through Amazon. I've recently seen a series of small adjustment charges on packages that were well under one pound. On one occasion, I was charged an additional $10.33 for a package weighing less than a pound, which is exceptionally high. This suggests a potential problem with how these shipping costs are calculated or applied. As a small business, I rely on accurate shipping costs, and these discrepancies are significantly impacting my operations. I believe this is an issue that other sellers should be made aware of, as it feels unethical to incur such charges, especially when initially under the impression that I was getting a good deal on shipping purchased through Amazon. This matter should be investigated.
