Shipping to AP address (Military bases)

Hello all, I am fairly new with selling at amazon. i am doing FBM. Today i have received an order destined for AP , upon research i found out that its for "Armed force pacific" and US military bases could be anywhere in the world. only USPS can serve this. Should i go ahead and fulfill it? I would lose money if i end up paying a lot for shipment if its going abroad? Is it advisable to cancel such orders in similar cases?

Overseas military bases do not have international postage rates, they have standard domestic shipping rates. Your shipping rates will be normal like shipping to a zone 8 destination.

EDIT: Ah nuts I see I'm too late to this one. Oh well, I'll leave it in case others run into the same question in the near future.

Make sure to check the USPS Military Mail page first, though, as USPS has suspended deliveries to a whole list of military zip codes... which is obviously out of your control, but your metrics will be hit harder by a late delivery / INR than they will by a pre-fulfillment cancellation (usually).

Hello @Seller_ARTCPr94orPr8,

Thank you for reaching out to Forums Community.

APO/FPO addresses are treated as domestic U.S. shipments by USPS, so you won't be paying international shipping rates. Here's what to keep in mind:

-USPS is the only carrier that delivers to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

-You'll pay standard domestic USPS rates, so shipping costs should be comparable to any other U.S. order.

-Transit times may be longer — sometimes 2–4 weeks depending on the base location.

-Cancelling is not recommended — seller-initiated cancellations count against your metrics, and Amazon expects your cancellation rate to stay below 2.5%.

Let us know if you are still facing the issue.
