Read onlyMy current capacity limit for this month (June) for standard size items is 100 cubic foot. My capacity limit for standard size for July and August is 467 cubic foot. I want to create a shipment that is about 400 cubic foot and will arrive to Amazon fulfilment centers in August. The system does not let me to create the shipment and complains that my shipment exceeds my "current" capacity limit.
I talked to Amazon associate and they told me that my shipment exceeds my current limit of 100 cubic foot, although my shipment does not exceed my capacity limit in June and August. The shipment will arrive in August. They told me I should wait until June and create my shipment on June.
Is there anyway that Amazon considers my June and August limit of 467 cubic feet instead of my "current" limit of 100 cubic feet? This way I can ship my products now instead of waiting another two weeks until June. If I wait until June to start my shipping, this means my products will arrive to Amazon 2 weeks later. This means I will loose 2 weeks of sales in August. This means earning less credit to offset the costs for my recent granted request for increase in the limit of the standard size storage for August.
I think you need to wait until July to start the shipment.
Hello @Seller_4FsewtQPaC45o.
I included a link to our seller help page covering capacity limits. You will need to wait until July to ship in quantities that meet those capacity limits, although you can check over the next week as it gets closer to that month.
"Capacity limits are typically announced during the fourth week of the month. You can view updates via the Capacity Monitor and will also receive an email notification. We’ll confirm your limit for the upcoming month, reaffirm or adjust your estimated limit for the following month, and estimate your limit for the month after that."
