I've Been Trying To Close My Seller Account For Months!

Hi Amazon,

I've been trying for months to deactivate my Amazon Account because I'm not selling any products on your website and it's too pricey for me. I noticed I'm still being charged for Mexico, Canada & Brazil. I blocked my credit card so they will not be able to charge my card. Every time I try to Click the close account button, It says, "Your account is inactive. I need this account to be closed. I will be sending a copy of this email to my attorney. You have me inactive in the US, but active in Mexico, Canada, & Brazil. There's FRAUD going on and charges are being made to my credit card.

I'm asking that this account be deactivated (CLOSED ASAP), and the charges stop immediately.

You need to switch your account to Individual; then you will stop being charged for the Pro subscription fees.

Note that "deactivated" and "closed" are different things. You cannot close an account that is not in good standing. But as long as you are on the individual plan and have no inventory in FBA, there will be no charges, your account will remain Deactivated, and the difference between that and closed is minor. You can then just forget about it.

"I will be sending a copy of this email to my attorney."

At the same time forward the 40 page +/- agreement that you signed when you opened you account on Amazon. It agrees to a LOT of stuff that most of us probably don't know about!

If you haven't done as @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwhas mentioned and gone 'individual' already, follow the arrows --
