Why is there no FBA Removal, Disposal and MCF Order Fees Calculator?
Amazon has a "Revenue Calculator" https://sellercentral.amazon.com/revcal, to help sellers figure out how much are they going to receive net after Amazon commission (referral fee) and pick/pack/ship expenses. It shows the net amount to sellers on both FBA and FBM.
However, there's no FBA Removal Fees Calculator or MCF order Fees Calculator.
To calculate Removal Fees you have to use the fees table included here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G9W7FVTLY343ZBKN
To calculate Disposal Fees you have to use the table here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G5FKTA8LXU4TZPD5
And to do that you have to figure out what's the size tier. And to figure out the size tier you have to get the dimensions and weight of the package, which are not always easy to find. Many product listings don't show the box dimensions anywhere. A workaround is to put the ASIN in the "Revenue Calculator". It will show the dimensions and weight, which you can then use to calculate the removal or disposal fee on the table in the Removal Fees section on seller central (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G9W7FVTLY343ZBKN) or Disposal Fees section (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G5FKTA8LXU4TZPD5)
Additionally, to figure out the shipping cost on an MCF order, you have to create the MCF order, put all the shipping info and then you will see the result. Amazon could put a Zip code field in the Revenue calculator to let it calculate an MCF order fee.
It would be super easy for Amazon to add the Removal, Disposal and MCF Fee to the Revenue calculator. Why doesn't Amazon do this? Maybe they don't want sellers to know how costly removals are these days.
Removal, Disposal and MCF costs are very useful when deciding what to do with products that are paying LTSF (Long Term Storage Fees). It would be great if Amazon can add the Removal, Disposal and MCF Fees to the Revenue calculator.
