My listing is Inactive due to compliance documents requested

One of my listings is currently in Inactive status due to compliance documents requested. The product is under dietary supplements. I have submitted a COA lab report from my manufacturer, GMP certification, FDA certification, and a Commercial Invoice showing that my company has made the purchase for the product from the manufacturer that the certifications have come from. I have submitted all this under the Upload compliance documents & completed template section and also have all compliance documents attached to the listing. I have even attached all compliance documents to the case I created to get more help with this issue. I have not heard back from anyone in over a week. Is there anything I can do or is there anyone I can speak with to help me get my listing back to Active status? I have inventory of this product that was delivered to an Amazon warehouse a couple weeks ago and am feeling really anxious not knowing how to move forward here. I am happy to share anymore needed info as well. Thank you!

Congrats on working to get on Amazon. I will suggest that you have patience when it comes to paperwork at least 30 to 60 days.

Anything sooner is awesome, but just imagine all the people applying to sell on Amazon everyday. They have a lot of documents to go thru, & I'm sure some are complicated, especially when it comes to supplements. They really have to make sure things are perfect, as its something people ingest.

If all is good, you will be selling soon. Just give it some time, don't keep asking, as it might bump your place. Patience will hopefully keep you calm. Make sure your items are at the warehouse, & everything is ready to go on your end.

Good luck & Welcome to Amazon. I am just a fellow seller that waited a couple of months to get on here many years ago, when they were smaller.

Hi @Seller_Xoz1IMrpEHa6p,

I understand your concern about the inactive listing. While you're waiting for a response, you might want to review Amazon's dietary supplements policy (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G55N3JF2WQS7RVNE) to ensure all your documentation meets the current requirements.

Key points to verify:

  • GMP certification must be from an approved third-party program (Eurofins GMP, NSF/ANSI 455-2, or UL GMP)
  • As of April 8, 2024, only Eurofins, UL, and NSF International are accepted testing verifiers
  • All certifications must be current and valid

It sounds like you've taken all the right steps by uploading the documents and opening a case. Unfortunately, sometimes these reviews can take longer than a week.

Hope you hear back soon!

Kind regards, Michael

May I please have some help looking into this? I don’t mind waiting my turn. I know this process can take some time. But if someone can let me know if I have sent in the correct compliance documents/certifications for this Inactive listing? I guess I would just like to know if I’ve done everything correctly on my end vs sitting here waiting when I still have actions on my end to complete.

Good Evening @Seller_Xoz1IMrpEHa6p,

I took a look at CASE ID 17059330851 associated to ASIN B0DPN9GRFP and saw the compliance documents were submitted back on January 21st, 2025.

The Compliance Team can take anywhere from 10 to 15 business days to review documentation. This means your documents could still be in review until February 11th, 2025. You can read more about compliance document submission best practices on -->THIS<-- discussion post I created here.

If you don't end up hearing any updates by Wednesday February 12th, 2025, feel free to comment back on this post and I can see what next steps can be taken to ensure we get your compliance documents reviewed.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and take care.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Morning @Seller_Xoz1IMrpEHa6p,

I wanted to share an update that as of April 8, 2024, Amazon will require Selling Partners to verify dietary supplement products meet our policy via third-party testing verification.

To begin the testing process, you can

  1. Go to the Manage Your Compliance dashboard
  2. Click Add/or Appeal Compliance for ASIN B0DPN9GRFP
  3. Then click, Request Lab Service

If you have any additional questions about this process, I am linking the dietary supplements help page -->HERE<-- or you can reach out to Selling Partner Support at any time. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with. Have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
