Title Change Process is AWFUL

In a normal world you can change your title and make updates and save it. The system used to work in this manner. Now after multiple attempts and speaking with an Amazon associate we now need to do the following. QUOTE: "For the brand owners, they need to follow the template upload process, need to delete the ASIN then wait for 24 hours and then re-list it with the template upload process. This will have no effect on the ASIN sales history, ASIN reviews, and ASIN FBA inventory if available."

This is the most inefficient process I have ever heard of and also sounds extremely risky. Why we cant make simple updates to our products is beyond me. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I stuck with this awful process until Amazon can figure out a way to make it easier.

Michelle at Amazon here. If you upload a category specific file, you should be able to update your title from there if you are the brand owner. If you are not able to update it, please create a case to Seller Support with your batch ID so they can take a look and see what the issue is. If you still need help after they have fully investigated, please provide me with the case ID so I can take a look.
