I'm unable to see more than 8 reviews.
Just noticed that, trying to see bad reviews on a product, I'm unable to do that.
As a seller, we want to know what buyers are complaining about, and now only seeing 5-star reviews or whatever are featured, it cripples this activity, making product research way harder than it should be. Also, it will open the door for unfair players who will make a lot of accounts just for this.
And as a buyer it makes it impossible to decide on a product.
Any insight on how to lift this limitation?

Hello @Seller_ICHzsUAumgDNs,
Ram here from the Amazon Community Manager team. I can see you're running into limitations viewing customer reviews beyond the first 8 shown, which is making product research difficult.
I took a look at the screenshot you shared showing the "send a request" option. I can see you've already submitted a request and received confirmation that you'll hear back within 5 business days. This suggests there's a review process in place for granting access to additional reviews.
Since you've already initiated the request, I'd recommend waiting for that email response within the 5-business-day window. The team handling these requests should provide clarity on the approval process and any requirements for accessing the full review dataset.
If you don't receive a response within that timeframe, or if the response doesn't address your need to access negative reviews for product research purposes, please circle back here with an update and I'd be happy to look into this further.
Best,
Ram

Why on earth would Amazon not allow someone to read reviews?
(Chinese listings, 100%, that have been hijacked and they do not want customers to see the old reviews that were for a different product)

This is happening because Amazon is trying to limit off Amazon tools from scrapping reviews and getting data. I think the plan is to have customers shift into RUFUS to get information on what customers are saying about the product

I don't usually take Amazon's side but Amazon was right to change the reviews as they did. On the day Amazon broke, they were changing the reviews to only show the ones that belong to the ASIN of the product page loaded versus the reviews of all ASINs on the variation. Amazon did this in response to cheating sellers who find old outdated ASINs with mostly 5-star reviews to create variations around in order to trick customers into thinking their very different products have those reviews when in actuality the reviews are from a totally different product from a while ago. This abuse is widespread in the computers category where Chinese sellers like Lucky Tech and 82 Days (same company) and many others are attaching their new listings to inactive ones of completely different products in order to falsify reviews. All of the issues being mentioned in this thread were caused by ASIN hijacking invalid variations for manipulating reviews. Amazon is now putting a stop to it once and for all. Even on more innocent variations like power supplies, the sharing of reviews was a problem since a 1300W power supply varies greatly in quality from a 750W one and the sellers of the PSUs would include all their PSUs on the same variation even when some were much less reliable than others. Category by category across Amazon, variation abuse for manipulating reviews was rampant. Amazon made this change to finally stop this from happening so customers would not be tricked. It just broke Amazon for a day in order to make it happen.
