UPS asserts that the customer entered dimensions were 10x12x5 and the weight was 112 oz.
They claim that the package was actually 10x12x5 weighing in at 7 lbs.
Spoiler for those without a calculator, 112 oz divided by 16 oz. is 7 lbs.
That'll be $2.83, please.
If this were a one-off, I would just let it go--that is not the case. I have mostly sworn off buying shipping through Amazon. Sure, Amazon backs you on claims of non-receipt, but at one point, that privilege was costing us about $2,000 per month.
We have switched to USPS Ground Advantage through Stamps and manually upload tracking numbers on 98% of our orders. (Stamps has been holding steady at 0% as far as "adjustments" to our account.)
The only practical move we left is to find a different way to process the 2% of larger and bulky orders.
Could you please tell me how to get to the report you're referencing?
If you're shipping a lot through UPS and FedEx you should contact your local rep and open an account with them directly. Negotiate your discounts with them directly, then connect to your account from Amazon and ship through Amazon on your UPS/FedEx account. I have much better negotiated rates than what Amazon offers.
The is criminal to say the least. People need prison time at this point
Hi @Seller_wUy1i1ZIDxZlX,
Did you submit a case for this? If so can you please provide me with the case ID?
Best,
Dominic
This is fantastic information. Where did you find this within Amazon ? Thanks again for helping us all to improve our businesses.
It is actually worse! Why do you think they hide this information from sellers...... Why do they change seller central to make it harder less transparent.
