Countries
Read onlyHello I have used our Branch's address during the setting up my account. Our main company located in another country. And I think due to it our account got deactivated. In order to solve this issue I have submitted documents all over again. Now I got notification from Amazon that they will send a post which has verification code for our Amazon Seller Account in it. But I want to receive it in main company instead of branch. Should I provide branch address despite it or I shoud use main address? I really need help for this issue. Thank you all!!
Hello @Seller_u0VZUQNc3YnUl,
Thank you for reaching out on the Forums. It can be a bit confusing when starting and completing the verification process. I will provide some general information to assist, but for specific information related to your account, please provide a Case ID or a Performance notification. With that information I am able to verify additional details.
If your account was already deactivated prior to the verification process being completed, there may be other issues I do not have the ability to see with the information provided in your post.
For what you are asking about now, it sounds as if you are talking about the post card verification. If you are at that point, changing that address now may trigger you to re-verify with a utility bill any new address you would add.
Usually, the Business Address would match the Legal Entity. Is that what you currently have set in Seller Central?
The way you check:
If you have already signed for the post card, you should see the time line of when the Post Card will arrive. Even if the card is sent to the Branch, someone there could give you the code to submit and complete the verification step.
Please review this help information: Business Address Verification and Seller Identity Verification
I hope this may have answered some of your questions. For more information, please provide a Case ID or a Performance notification.
I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the forums.
