Meet Amazon's growing lineup of electric delivery vehicles

As we continue to work toward our goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, we constantly innovate to transform our operations and positively impact local communities. This includes investing in safe nuclear power for our data centers, building facilities with lower-carbon engineered wood, reducing packaging, and making the materials we use easier to recycle.

Our efforts also extend to deliveries, as we find lower-emission ways to get the packages to customers’ doorsteps. To that end, we’ve rolled out all sorts of electric vehicles in cities and countries around the globe.

We carefully select these makes and models to meet the specific needs of different regions and routes across our operations, but their mission is the same: transporting everything from vacuum cleaners to shampoo through our fulfillment network and finally, to customers. With zero tailpipe emissions, these vehicles can help create cleaner air and reduce noise.

Electric vehicles that will use robots to deliver to eliminate packages marked as delivered but at incorrect addresses, or marked delivered days before actual delivery?

Will these new electric vehicles be quiet enough to also deliver at night for people who work night-shift and aren't home for daytime deliveries?

Will Amazon use solar panels to collect electricity to charge up these delivery vehicles and then pass on the fuel savings to us 3p sellers?

Will these electric vehicles have an ultimate shock absorption framework to negate the damage from lack of packaging that FBA does now, like putting a small piece of brown paper in a large box with several fragile things and larger heavier objects?

...we need fixes to the current problems, like FBA not doing a complete intake inventory count immediately, resulting in things being "lost" (stolen) during the RECEIVING stage as things are reshipped to other locations. and I am still waiting for FBA skeet drones to fly around neighborhoods.

HOORAY!

Let's all pretend the electricity isn't produced by burning fossil fuels at power plants.

Let's all pretend Amazon really gives a rat's hindquarters about being "green"

Let's all pretend that the efficiency ratings for electric vehicles aren't based on toaster sized vehicles.

Let's all pretend that government and big business are not herding us toward fewer choices for energy.

Let's all pretend that Amazon really loves it's sellers, vendors, contractors and employees and customers.

Let's all pretend the only thing Amazon really cares about is not it's stock price.

DO YOU THINK WE REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR ELECTRIC VEHICLES AMAZON AS YOU ARE STEALING HAND OVER FIST FROM YOUR 3P SELLERS INVENTORY - HOW ABOUT LOOKING AT YOUR PROCESSES AND DETERMINING WHY THIS IS HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE. YOU ARE STEALING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF PRODUCTS FROM 3P SELLERS AND WE ARE BEYOND SICK OF IT. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE AND YOU OUGHT TO BE SUED BEYOND BELIEF. SENT 64 ITEMS, YOU CHECKED IN 1 AND CLOSED THE SHIPMENT. SENT 203 ITEMS, YOU CHECKED IN 165 AND CLOSED THE SHIPMENT. SENT 148 ITEMS, YOU CHECKED IN 95 AND CLOSED THE SHIPMENT. THESE 3 ARE WITHIN 2 WEEKS - NOT EVEN INCLUDING ALL THE OTHERS OF THE MONTH THAT WERE SHORTED. YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS. THE GOVERNMENT, IRS, AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION ARE GOING TO HEAR FROM ME ON THIS MATTER BECAUSE THIS IS FLAT OUT STEALING AND AN OUTRAGE. FIX YOUR PROCESS!!!!!! YOU DEMAND ALL 3P SELLERS JUMP THRU YOUR STUPID POLICIES AND HOOPS - HOW ABOUT YOU DO THE SAME FOR US......YOUR SUPPOSED PARTNERS. YOU MAKE ME SICK.

Gee....just what no seller cared about, asked for, or wanted. Rather Amazon follow it's own policies, not lose things, not blame sellers, have better KPI metrics that actually matter, a news story about how they took down ___ sellers doing review fraud, etc. How about doing something when we report review fraud, click fraud, return fraud, or the dozens of times on our own Prime account when we get things like this, report it, and months later the listing and seller is still there?
