Just putting it out there incase anyone had thought about signing up for account management, DONT!!!
We signed up, 3 month minimum term, $5k a month - $15k paid - literally not one issue sorted.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Hopefully this will save someone getting ripped like we did!
Nice little $15k for Amazon for nothing! :) Thanks!!
LITERAL SCAM!!

Thanks for the warning. Some Amazon services targeting sellers definitely overpromise and underdeliver. Customer Service By Amazon (CSBA) was a huge letdown for many sellers. Then there was the whole AWD bait and switch earlier this year, following the west coast availability fiasco during the holidays.
Other services are better. Transparency comes to mind. But they seem to be rare.
It completely depends on who you get as an account manager. We've had 4, and only 1 of them was worth paying for. The other 3 just check their boxes, regurgitate reports you can read yourself, and pretend to give you insights that anybody who has been selling on Amazon for more than 6 months already knows.
Thanks for this info, we were offered a rep, but when I dove into the services it just didn't add up to the cost. The only value we thought might have been worth it is elevating performance issues that may come up. Did you ever utilize them for anything like that?
Let's see...
Amazon charging us OVER 40 percent in fees to sell on their platform,
Amazon "losing"/stealing thousands of dollars of our inventory,
Amazon gating hundreds of brands we have sold for years...
A VERY SIMPLE DECISION to not get their $5k a month "account management". (What a joke)
Surprised to hear you fell for it in the first place given the facts above.
100%
We're quitting this program after using it for 7 years.
Will write a full review once done. But in short, you're basically paying $5000 a month for an intern who has been at Amazon for less time than you and knows almost nothing. Even their manager and their managers manager are completely clueless.
We did it out of desperation. 2 weeks in - the same result so far... They listen and "communicate with other teams". But nothing gets resolved...
Rule of thumb is always question Amazon or their service intent. They are not here to help you for your benefit only for them. FBA steals, these service can even rulen your business, their calculator are trash you will lose money. price suggestion will sometime be unreasonable, price gate certain item for no reason even if the prices are similiar on other platforms.
Old story. Should have posted before here; it would have saved you 15k. Or at least search the forum.
