What is wrong with the programmers at amazon? Why are we adding clicks?

This is in reference to the inventory page. Went to add quantity to an inactive item and now you have to click on the quantity for a sidebar to come out to change it. Are you all retarded or what is the issue? It worked just fine before. No need to add more clicks to the process. It is already ridiculous. I cant believe they pay people to make amazon worse. Christ.

"I cant believe they pay people to make amazon worse. Christ. "

Don't expect it to ever get better.

Their programmers get paid to DO THINGS. The things they do don't have to be good, logical, productive, or even workable. They just have to do stuff.

They never heard the phrase -- "if it ain't broken, don't fix it."

The Amazon method is --

If it's working BREAK IT so we have something to do....

Yes, the constant tinkering, always with the result of making things less functional, will drive you crazy.

They need to add more clicks to show they are functional to the company.

Engineers and developers doing things to justify keeping their jobs. It's asinine.

Amazon is on a constant mission to make things worse, it seems. Whenever us sellers get a nice, easy workflow going Amazon throws a wrench in our gears.

They don't want you to open cases too fast. Their copy and paste bots can't keep up.

What about the new ''Add a product'' page? Same thing, now a sidebar will pop up with less than half screen to search the product you're looking to list. Not to mention it lacks lots on info previous page had.

They can only do CSS style or decorative change. No one can fix the broken Buy Box alg and the Buy Shipping alg coz fixing those two algorithms requires a head with a brain.

It's like put makeup cosmetics on the face while the internal organs are all cancerous.

And then they put out a survey to see if you agree that "Amazon makes changes to improve the seller experience."

I just don't get this one either, I wish someone would explain why the 'zero' level is now clickable to open the box to enter the number to save it and close it. On the UK and EU sites it is the same as it always was, just put in the stock figure and save it.

Also the 'add product' is now a third of the page and you cannot see the images without a magnifying glass when searching for a product, I think it is what I had always suspected and that is that the over staffed Amazon has to justify its existence by making up things to do to look busy.
