Wild: Amazon Showing Products From Other Websites (Shopify)
Haven't seen this before - Amazon showing product listings from other websites. This is a Shopify site with products not on Amazon - but showing on Amazon.
Not only that - but they get a cool dedicated page within the search results showing just their products that sellers paying Amazon to be here don't get. And they get it for free.
Amazon sends customers directly to the Shopify site to make a purchase. All free.
As an Amazon seller, I'm going ??? More competition. Why am I here? Why shouldn't Amazon be sending customers to my sites so I can bypass all the metrics and policies Amazon is burying sellers under.
With Amazon focusing more on making from ad clicks instead of sales, and now sending customers to other websites, just bag the marketplace and call it Google2.

I just noticed this on my product listings. Literally trying to send my potential customers to other websites to make a purchase. The end must truly be near for Amazon marketplace because they are now willing to outsource their own sales for ad revenue. I understand your sentiments and wish this thread got more attention.

When is Amazon going to start showing listings for eBay, WalMart, Macys, JC Penney, etc?
Don't piddle around stealing some small Shopify sites, go all-in on trying to be the starting point for all product searches of all products.
