Shipping into AWD from overseas (not China) without using Amazon Global Logisitics

We are evaluating logistics to ship into AWD without using AGL, as goods are not shipping from China. Curious if anyone has much experience with this and any challenges you have come across?

While you await experiences of others using AWD, I'm going to link the Send shipments to Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) help page(s) which details the differences between using partnered and non-partner carriers to send those shipments.

Additionally, depending on from which country you're shipping, Amazon Global Selling SEND via Ocean could be of interest here.
