To the Alexa for Shopping team,

I’d like to submit a small but important usability improvement for the price history chart.

Currently, Alexa only shows historical prices with a line chart and does not label Prime Day promotional prices. This causes misleading price perception for buyers.

For example, a product’s regular price is $259.99, while its Prime Day exclusive price dropped to $223.19. This is an annual, once-a-year record-low deal only available during Prime Day, not a regular everyday price.

Without any marker, most users mistake this temporary Prime Day price for the normal price. As a result, users lower their purchase willingness or keep waiting for another identical low price, which rarely happens. Most users also cannot remember the exact Prime Day date over time.

Suggestion：

Please add a simple annotation: “Prime Day Deal Price” to all Prime Day discount points in the price history graph. This helps users clearly distinguish annual festival specials from standard pricing and make accurate purchase decisions.

This small change will greatly improve the clarity and reliability of Alexa’s price history feature.
