Can I set up an account for a friend?
Hi, folks. I have a friend who composes and sings her own songs, along with a group. She would like to sell her songs on Amazon. But she cannot set up an online seller account because she is blind. I have offered to do it for her. We live in different states.
Our plan is for her to call me and give me the required information over the phone. We want to set it up so any income goes right into her bank account.
So my question is, would Amazon let me do this from my computer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Creating a new account on your same IP address will probably cause issues. Amazon will link the accounts, and you will need provide proof that they are not linked, but they will be via IP.
There are ways to have separate but linked accounts, as there are legitimate reasons. I just don't personally know what that process would be currently. I would keep researching the forums.

She has to create her own account with her tax ID number, her bank account, her credit card, her address. And THEN she can give a User Permission to you to work on that account. But if one day one account is deactivated by Amazon, the other one will become deactivated too.
only physical products can be sold on Amazon, so on CD or USB stick or similar. No download.
