Hi Forum,
I sent 100 units, around a 30 lb box at UPS. I have sent amazon proof of inventory with an invoice.
Anyone else having this issue? Before I even had a chance to submit a claim. Amazon tagged the shipment as "investigation completed and researched". I have opened up 2 cased - both saying that there were no units in the box.
There is no way I sent 0 units. What is alarming is I am seeing a lot of other posts on this forum with similar situations from other sellers.
Amazon is denying my claim. I obviously can't make a claim to UPS.
What is going on? What can I do?
FBA CASE 15608471931
Hi there @Seller_RJi9PlpLtnXiN, sorry to read about this. I see the case is actively being worked but if it moves to resolved status and you still need assistance please tag me so I can escalate as needed.

We now triple check every shipment and Amazon will still says items are missing. Nothing but Amazon employee theft and Amazon will not do anything about it. Between fees and theft it is getting really expensive to do business on Amazon.
Yes, I have the same issue with 128 units (about $4k of inventory). I have a current open case (15601502321) that has been pending Amazon action for 11 days.

Never let them steal from you again by MF or using a 3P
What can I do?
same happened to me, i waited for my inventory for 2 months even the units were available for sale and i got orders for more than half of the units then suddenly the inventory went to zero .
i submitted the Proof of delivery and invoice and amazon reimbursed to me within a week. But the amount was less then what it had cost me.
Just a quick update here for other sellers.
I reopened the case again for the third time - I finally got a response for a reimbursement this morning.
For other sellers going through this situation - I guess you have to keep reopening the case even if you keep getting denied. (It took me 3 tries).
I had the exact same situation with 21 units. Sent in Jan 2024, they claimed 0 received. From March to May, went back and forth with seller support, trying to get a reimbursement or get the items found. Eventually gave up and deleted the listing and swore to never sell that product again. But it was a hard $1300 pill to swallow.
Then in July suddenly 21 units popped up in stranded inventory with no active listing. Luckily, someone must have found them sitting somewhere in the warehouse and added them to my inventory, 6 months after they were received.
My advice:
1) Don't give up hope that they won't be found. They might find them someday.
2) Always use FNSKU labels rather than using UPC co-mingled inventory. Yes, it's more time intensive than just using the UPC. But had these items been co-mingled, they would have found them and went, "no idea who these belong to," and I would have been SOL.
similar is happening to me— amazon has some serious audacity.
This happens to us all the time, specifically on ASINS that amazon is the Direct competition. They always claim my 27lb boxes have just air in them, had them do so on over 300 units last year. Provide proof pf purchase with invoices (they are going to give you a hard time if you have shipped other units since date of invoice) they will make you provide proof for all units sent. Then they tend to still deny it, re-open the case and after going back and forth they tend to side in your favor. Maybe its me and I DO NOT give up or let amazon steal from us, but we have been reimbursed for every unit they have ever lost.....don't get me wrong, your gonna have to put up a fight and don't take "investigation closed" as an answer......good luck
