Also, there are tons of boycotts out there affecting everyone.

People are saving their money and tax refunds for summer vacation and are not buying things that are unnecessary.

We are down 95% this year, it is mostly due to Amazon changes and technical issues. Depends on what you sell but for us; we are dealing with bad sellers who are undercutting the prices by selling fakes and counterfeit products for much less (many legit sellers of major brands are facing this issue). This inadvertently changes the Ai to think that our prices are now high compared to theirs and removes our Buy Box privileges. That along with the OTDR debacle everyone is having issues with, customers basically do not see our listings.
Our other platforms have been doing good, not great but better than last year and we have given up on Amazon at this point. We also just got re-gated for brands we have been selling for years and the bots are not accepting our invoices from the same authorized distributors we have been dealing with for over a decade.
Customer service for sellers is non-existent and even the mods that try to help some sellers are not really able to help since most issues are technical Amazon Ai related (the elusive internal team which probably is not even real). Unless there is some major administrative changes to Amazon, 3P selling is doomed. Best of luck.

We are down 95% compared to last year. AMAZON sessions traffic has gone to hell! Ever since there new Algorithm change the traffic has evaporated. Almost a decade in this business and I can 100% say that Amazon "DOES NOT" have your back as a seller. There seller support is the absolute worst junk service available. Just a bunch of Philippine's or wherever there from laughing at Americans and there issues while giving you canned answers and more aggravation and grief. Amazon is all about GREED, high fees and not giving a hoot about there sellers (they say they do, but they have to keep a straight face of course) Back to EBAY and whatever else is out there!

My listings are all competitive & Most are Better than the buy box but they're buried in "other sellers"...where only more sophisticated buyers look...Mainly professional buyers like book stores & universities...But I agree people are buying less nowadays...

Consumer confidence has nosedived and we're in the middle of shrinking GDP which indicates a looming recession. People aren't buying anything but Necessities right now, especially with the prospect of tariffs eroding the economy further.

I sell CDs, cassettes, books and DVDs.
My sales are weak during the spring and pathetic in the summer which is why I take a vacation from mid-May to mid-October. I will only be open if it is worth having Pro status. Holidays, gas prices and the economy also impact sales.

We can give thanks to our new economic climate which has pushed consumer confidence down to a twelve year low. Unfortunately, more economic downwinds and tariff related pressures are still to come.
