I don’t think it is just me but when I have to print labels today from East Coast to West Coast it is charging more than the 6-8 cent increase? Anyone else see this?
I just noticed this too. What’s going on?
Still less than retail

Were there any changes to first class or media mail this time around? I’m out of the loop for once.
You can Google USPS 2022 123 and get the official listing.
I ship mainly first class and the normal rate is around $3.07-3.20
for my shipments.
Today it is showing as $3.50-3.75 per shipment, which is what it was during Christmas.
With full implementation, the Postal Service’s 10-year Delivering For America plan is designed to reverse a projected $160 billion in operating losses over the next 10 years. The Plan’s growth and efficiency initiatives, including the proposed pricing changes, together with necessary legislation, should allow the Postal Service to make investments totaling approximately $40 billion over the next 10 years to modernize and improve our infrastructure to become more efficient and service responsive.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
From me to NJ 3.01 yesterday 3.37 today.
First Class parcel is up about 37 cents in most zones and weights.
Increase is highest in lowest weights.
The rate always goes up in January. I think with the dates of the holidays, it just makes it seem sooner than last year.
Time to raise prices…again…gee, thanks USPS. I did notice my FC envelope labels were higher today, so just took it for granted there was yet another increase
