New FBA shipment notifications for better visibility

To help you better prepare for partnered carrier pickups and track any FBA shipment delivery disruptions, we'll now send you email notifications if your shipments that use full truckload, less than truckload, and intermodal shipping modes encounter any changes or delays.

For Partnered Carrier Program shipments, we'll notify you about changes to your pickup date and time, shipping mode, or Standard Carrier Alpha Code so you can prepare your inventory accordingly.

We'll send these updates on pickup plan changes to the email address you provided in Step 4 of the Send to Amazon workflow, where you confirm carrier and pallet information.

For FBA delivery disruption emails, we'll notify you when there are changes to your shipment destination or delivery date and time.

To manage your email preferences for delivery plan changes or disruptions:

  • Go to Settings in Seller Central.
  • Click Notification Preferences.
  • Scroll to FBA Inbound Shipment Status Notifications.
  • Click Edit to make updates to Delivery plan changes or disruptions.

Each notification email will include shipment details to give you better visibility into key details such as shipment ID, total pallets, total cartons, and total weight.

To learn more, go to Track your shipments.

I Thought they would do something about all the disruptions due to sever congestion in their fc's. It's taking a month to deliver shipments.

Great to know we'll get notifications!

Could you please elaborate more on exactly what type of "changes" or "delays"?

Because it's already taking 2-3 months for a shipment to finally be in the "closed" status.

This is way too long without any delays or changes.

It would be nice to have insight into appointment/receiving delays at FC's. When we are penalized with low inventory fees, but also penalized by paying excessive storage fees (esp in Q4) with too much inventory - it's impossible to find a balance without a crystal ball.

My LTL shipments may only take a week to get to the FC, but 4 weeks + to be checked in and then even longer to be received.
