I would like to ask if all of you have started to modify the product titles and Item Highlights according to the new standards? Why does the system still say that it's temporarily unable to fill in the information? It's all so messy.

I don't know but I was in there last night checking to see how the AI would work on my listings and Amazon wants us to do this new setup, but the editing screens are still the same for the old setup so it's hard to tell how it will even work. All of the AI generated stuff I was getting for my items was all garbage and will basically put my products into unsearchable for everything so I can't even see how any of this works yet if I make any changes.

You may populate the highlights only if your listing title contains no more than 75 characters.

This is not what we're seeing.
We promptly updated our listing titles to 75 characters or fewer, and those changes are now live.
While the dubious-looking AI interface accepts a new Item Highlights value (while also attempting to make disastrous changes to other fields that we must override), when we return 24 hours later to review the listing, the Item Highlights field still displays only the original recommended text.
Has anyone successfully gotten the system to accept a new Item Highlights value through a manual listing edit? If so, how?

Thanks for raising this — you're not alone. Here's what we know so far about the Item Highlights rollout:
- Title length requirement: Your product title must be 75 characters or fewer (including spaces) before you can add Item Highlights.
- Official deadline: Starting July 27, 2026, all titles (except media) must meet the 75-character limit. After that date, non-compliant titles will be gradually updated using AI recommendations.
- Item Highlights: Provides an additional 125 characters for materials, use cases, or details that help customers compare products. This content is searchable and visible in search results.
To get started now:
- Go to Manage All Inventory and select your listing.
- Click Edit → then View enhancements on the left side.
- Review the AI-recommended title and Item Highlights suggestions.
- Known issues: Some sellers are currently experiencing system errors or changes not saving. If you're seeing error messages, this may be a temporary system limitation as the feature rolls out. We recommend trying again in a few days.

Correction: the AI "View Enhancements" interface accepted our Item Highlight text, but never published it.
Now, when we choose Edit Listing, an Item Highlight field is visible on the Product Details tab.
However when we entered identical Item Highlight text— well under 75 characters including spaces—on several listings, only the biggest seller consistently returns:
"100476: Provide an Item Name that is 75 characters or less to use Item Highlights. Additional details can be found in the tool tip."
All of the other listings accepted the exact same Item Highlight text.
Has anyone found a workaround?
