Amazon just auto-authorized a return on a power tool for an order 113 days old. How do we stop this from happening?

Could an amazon mod pleased look into this.

Amazon just auto authorized a return for a FBM order from 72 days ago. The order was delivered 58 days ago.This is well outside the 30 days return policy.

why or how is amazon auto authorizing this?

Who is responsible for refunding the customer if Amazon auto-authorized the return? Will Amazon refund the customer by debiting seller account or does the seller have to manually refund the customer?

We had a case where the return was auto-authorized, the unit was returned to us, but Amazon never refunded the customer by debiting our account. Customer opened an AtoZ claim and it affected our ODR.
