How do I get started with Amazon Insights?
Click Get Started and fill out the form to provide us information about your company and desired insights project. For cases when we can calculate a price for your question, you can confirm and pay for your project via Amazon Pay. For the other questions, you need to submit the form, and we will reply to you to finalize the question and answer options, and define the targeting for your cohort. Once complete, we’ll send a proposal including pricing. If you decide to proceed, we will schedule your project to appear on Amazon. You’ll receive the results once your project has completed.
What types of targeting cohorts are available for my project?
- Customers who have purchased your product(s) on Amazon
- Customers who viewed your product(s) on Amazon
- Customers who viewed your product(s), but did not purchase
- Customers who purchased a product in the same category as your product on Amazon
How does pricing work?
Amazon Insights charges a fee per response. Pricing varies based on the targeting criteria and the size of the targeted segment for each project. You only pay for the responses received.
How many responses will I get?
You determine how many responses you need. We will help gauge the feasibility of getting your desired responses based on your targeting criteria.
Where do customers see my project?
Customers in the United States that are part of your defined cohort will see your question on the Amazon.com desktop website and mobile app. Customers will be able to respond during their normal shopping activities with Amazon. See a sample customer experience below.
How will I receive my project’s results?
Amazon Insights will share the aggregated and anonymized results, including a breakdown of the number and percentage of customers who selected each answer. We do not share any personal information about the customers in your target segment who answered your questions.
What terms and conditions apply to my Amazon Insights project?
Once you review our proposal and elect to proceed with an Amazon Insights project, the execution of that project is subject to the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement (the “Agreement”) that you agreed to when you completed the Amazon Seller Central registration process. Amazon Insights is an extension of the Amazon Clicks Service under the Agreement and the aggregated customer response data we make available to you is Amazon Transaction Information under the Agreement.
