2024 FBA New Selection program changes

For an overview of all 2024 US selling fee changes, go to 2024 US FBA fee changes summary.

Given the success of FBA New Selection, we’ll continue to update the program in 2024 by providing improved benefits to eligible sellers.

Rebate on sales

Effective March 1, 2024, we’ll continue to provide an average 10% rebate on sales of eligible new-to-FBA parent products, including new rebates for eligible non-branded selection:

  • For eligible non-branded non-standard size items, the rebate applies on up to 50 units per parent product for up to 120 days.
  • For eligible non-branded standard-size items, the rebate applies on up to 100 units per parent product for up to 120 days.

Self-fulfilled unbranded child products with five or fewer unit sales per week (on a trailing four-week average) won’t be eligible for the rebate if introduced to FBA.

Unit and timing eligibility for non-standard size products

Effective March 1, 2024, for all eligible non-standard size products, we're providing the storage, liquidations, and rebate benefits on up to 50 units per parent product. Previously, we provided these benefits on up to 30 units per parent product.

Effective March 1, 2024, for all eligible non-standard size products, we're providing the storage and rebate benefits for up to 120 days per parent product. Previously, we provided these benefits for up to 90 days per parent product.

Reduced IPI score for eligibility

Effective March 1, 2024, we’ll reduce the Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score needed for program eligibility to 300 or higher. Previously, you needed a score of 400 or higher to qualify for the program. If you have yet to be assigned an IPI score, you can enroll in the program and receive the program's benefits.

Reduced Vine enrollment fee

Next year, we’ll provide a 25% discount on the Vine enrollment fee for eligible selection. This discount applies when 3-10 units per parent ASIN are enrolled in Vine. We will announce the timing and more details for this benefit early next year.

Exemption of the returns processing fees

We’ll waive the returns processing fees for up to 20 units of each eligible parent product. Returned products must be received at a fulfillment center within 180 days of the first inventory-received date. This applies to the returns processing fee for non-apparel and non-shoe products starting on June 1, 2024.

We will provide more details on these program updates early next year. For more information, including seller and product eligibility, go to FBA New Selection.
