There is a mistake on a product detail page. How can I correct it?

To fix or improve information on a product detail page, you can do one of the following:

Edit your product data on the Manage Inventory page

  1. Go to the Manage Inventory page.
  2. Click the Edit button next to the product you want to update.
  3. Select one of the tabs in the Advance View options to update the information on the product.

Upload an inventory file template

You can create and upload inventory file templates for the type of products you sell on Amazon. The option to upload your products can also serve as a way to update your product information.

Note: The following steps are applicable only if you already created an inventory file template. If you need to create an inventory file template, follow the steps listed in the Download an Inventory File tab within the Add Products via Upload page.

  1. Go to the Add Products via Upload page under the Inventory tab.
  2. Select the Check and Upload your Inventory File tab.
    Note: In Step 1 – Check Your File, you can use this feature to validate your inventory file template by either selecting the File type or File to check option, and then click the Check my file button.
  3. In Step 2 – Upload File, you can upload your completed inventory file template by either selecting the File type or File Upload option, and then click the Upload button.
    Note: You can choose the Email Alert option to have any identified errors submitted to you via email. If you do not want to receive an email, you can leave this option blank.
