Lab Central

  • If you list products on our store, you must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and our policies applicable to those products and product listings. This includes providing required product safety and compliance documentation.
  • Lab Central connects you with a network of participating, accredited third-party labs with knowledge of our specific requirements. You send products for testing directly to the participating lab you select and pay the lab directly for any and all costs associated with receiving services. Participating labs transmit test reports directly to us, minimizing processing time. We monitor and audit lab performance to ensure that you receive high quality customer service.
Note: Not all products will be eligible for testing through Lab Central. If a product you submit for testing is not eligible at the time of submission, product testing may be performed by the participating lab outside of Lab Central, subject to any additional terms and conditions you may have with them.

Navigate to Lab Central

  1. In Seller Central, navigate to the Service Provider Network.
  2. Choose the country where you are located.
  3. Choose the country where you want to sell one ore more of your products.
  4. Choose Compliance as the service you need help with.
  5. Click Search.
  6. After the search results are returned, use the filtering options on the left side of your screen to refine the list of providers.
  7. Choose from the list of labs by selecting the lab’s profile.
  8. Click Contact Provider.
  9. Select Certification, Testing, or both for service of interest.
  10. Add a description of your request.
  11. Click the checkbox to share your contact information with the provider.
  12. Click Submit Request.
  13. Click View Service Requests to find the request you just submitted.
  14. Complete the compliance testing details on the Service Request Details page. If the ASIN is not created yet, you can leave the form empty and the lab will contact you for product details.
  15. View the Terms and Conditions (T&C) and click Confirm.
  16. The service request status will change to Request Details Confirmed if the request has been successful.
  17. If Lab Central does not support the product and country, the status will change to Request Details Awaited and you will see a message stating "Please click here to review the errors." You will have the option to export the errors to a spreadsheet.
  18. Once work is completed, the service request status will change to Work completed. You can click View test details here to view results and download the test report.

Your use of Lab Central does not guarantee passing test results and passing results do not guarantee that you have met all compliance requirements in order to list your products in the store. You are responsible for ensuring all required compliance requirements are met and documentation is provided to us for all your products.
