Amazon may request toy safety documentation at any time to confirm compliance.
If you are contacted by Amazon, you must provide documents to confirm the safety of your products. Amazon requires certain documentation that indicates testing compliance with standards or regulations for each product you are applying to sell.
Amazon’s policies require that children’s toys sold through the Amazon website meet specified certification standards. If you are contacted by Amazon, please submit the following information to child-safety@amazon.com:
Product | Regulation/Standard Requirement |
---|---|
Toys for children under age 12 | ASTM F963-17 (Toys), CPSIA (Lead, Phthalates) and Small Parts Warning* |
For more information on specific children’s toys and products, refer to the following Help pages:
*Note: The small parts warning is required to appear on your detail page as a CPSIA attribute. See the following Help Page
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) provides guidance for businesses on how to comply with these requirements.
