Troubleshoot common video upload issues

Below are some solutions to common issues sellers experience when uploading videos for their products.

My video isn’t showing up on the product detail page.


  1. Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page.
  2. Use the search bar to locate your video, either by video title or ASIN.
  3. Check the status of your video.
    1. If the status is Live, check the product detail page. If there are more than six images for the product, consider removing some so your video will display in the top six.
      Note: Typically, videos will show up within 24 hours. However, during occasional peak periods it can take up to seven business days to review, approve, and display a product video.
  4. If the status is Rejected, see below.

Why was my video rejected?


  1. Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page.
  2. Use the search bar to locate your video, either by video title or ASIN.
  3. Hover over the rejected video, and click Manage on the right.
  4. The rejection reason will display at the top of the page.

For additional guidance, refer to our Video Content Policy to find out why your video was rejected. Once you have addressed the content issue, upload the new video for Amazon to review.
