Selling full-size appliances

When you create a listing for a full-size appliance, certain information is required. This information, including the appliance’s dimensions, helps customers make the right choice and could reduce returns.

For full-size dishwashers and laundry, refrigeration, and cooking appliances, the following information is required:

  • Item width, depth, and height
  • Unit of measurement
  • Item weight
  • Package weight
  • Model number
Note: Our fee category guidelines provide detailed, searchable lists of products that belong to each fee category. For more information, go to Fee category guidelines for your products.

Washer and dryer types

Stacked washer-dryer units have only one SKU or model number. The washer and dryer share the control console and work properly only when stacked. A stacked washer-dryer unit is considered a single product and is designed to fit into a small space.

Stacked washer-dryer units don’t include the following:

  • Washer and dryer bundles or pairs. Most front-loading washing machines can stack with their matching dryers through stacking kits, but they’re separate, fully functional products. A top-loading washing machine and its matching dryer can form a pair but not a stacked unit.
  • A washing machine with twin tubs for washing and spinning.

An all-in-one washer-dryer combination is a single appliance that provide both washing and drying functions. A combo also has one SKU or model number, but it’s not a stacked washer-dryer unit or a washer-dryer pair.
