The extra-large storage type provides more flexibility in managing your inventory and quantity limits. This storage type is offered in addition to the oversize storage type, to expand your options for sending adequate amounts of inventory for larger items.
Extra-large and oversize storage types are not the same, and orders for these items are handled through separate fulfillment networks.
The table below shows the criteria for the two storage types. For items to be considered extra-large or oversize, they must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Storage type | Longest side | Median side | Shortest side | Girth + length | Unit weight |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Extra-large | 96 inches or more for non-TV items 40 inches or more for TVs |
N/A | N/A | 130 inches or more | 50 lb or more |
Oversize | 18 inches or more | 14 inches or more | 8 inches or more | N/A | 20 lb or more |
If you have existing inventory that meets the criteria for the extra-large storage type, it will be removed automatically from oversize storage type and reclassified as extra-large. No action from you is required.
Both Individual and Professional selling accounts may be subject to restock limits for extra-large items.
Check your current limits, or maximum inventory level, and usage in your Inventory Performance dashboard and Shipping Queue.
