To provide a head start on improving inventory health, we are offering a limited-time, free inventory removal promotion for all sellers with an IPI score of 350 or above at any point in October 2019. Sellers without an IPI score are not eligible for this promotion.
If you qualify, beginning October 14, 2019, we will waive your removal fees for any removal order that you submit for inventory in our US fulfillment centers. This promotion ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on October 31, 2019. We will notify you if we end this promotion earlier. To take advantage of this offer, you must submit a removal order before the promotion ends. Go to Inventory Age and choose Create removal order from the menu next to any FBA item in your inventory.
You will not be able to send us more units of any ASINs you remove during the promotion until: 1) January 31, 2020, when this restriction expires, OR 2) your inventory level for the removed ASINs falls below your sales over the last 90 days for the removed ASINs.
In applying these guidelines, the inventory we consider is inventory on hand (available + reserved) adjusted for any inventory on its way to a fulfillment center (from creation of a shipment order to receiving at the fulfillment center) and inventory pending removal. The units sold we consider are the units sold over the last 90 days. Please note units sold is measured using a daily snapshot and data may be subject to a delay of 1-2 days.
The quantity you send must be less than units sold, minus inventory (as described above). This means sellers are not permitted to send an amount that would bring their inventory above total sales for the last 90 days before January 31, 2020.
For example, consider an ASIN you removed that sold 180 units in the preceding 90 days. If your inventory falls below 180, you could send more units of that ASIN to the fulfillment center as long as your total inventory does not exceed 180 units.
Since your total inventory utilization may not exceed 90 days of sales (in this case, 180 units), if your inventory utilization fell to 80 units, you could send in up to 100 units to the fulfillment center (180 - 80 = 100).
