Regional delivery speeds to customers close to your warehouse are usually faster than national delivery speeds. The Faster Regional Transit Time feature lets you enable faster transit times to nearby customers, for your domestic standard shipping orders. A faster transit time option will be available in your shipping templates for customers in the same region as your default shipping address.
You can enable faster transit time by performing the following steps:
Customers are more likely to purchase products that have a faster delivery promise. By enabling the Faster Regional Transit Time feature in your shipping templates, you will have an opportunity to provide faster delivery promises to close proximity customers.
Currently, we only support enabling this feature for customers located in the same region as your default shipping warehouse.
You can edit your default shipping address by performing the following steps:
Faster Regional Transit Time feature will apply to the level two regions where your default shipping address is located. You can find the level two regions from the region selector in your shipping template, as shown in the table below.
For example, "South" is the level one region, and "Georgia" is the level two region. If your default shipping address is in Georgia, you can enable Faster Regional Transit Time feature for Georgia.
Currently, we only support enabling regional faster transit time for continental US.
Whenever you change your shipping address settings, you will need to review your existing shipping templates. This includes reviewing ship options, regions, transit time, and ship charge to make sure your shipping settings are reflecting your fulfillment capabilities, based on your default shipping address. When you edit your shipping templates or create new shipping templates after changing your default ship-from location, you will still be able to enable the Faster Regional Transit Time feature to the regions where your new default shipping address is located.
