Amazon Sponsored Discount

The Amazon Sponsored Discount helps sellers by offering shipping discounts within Buy Shipping on fast and reliable ship methods that are recommended by Amazon.

Note: The discount and ship method chosen may vary based on carrier performance and may not be available for every transaction.

Sellers are able to access the discount when using Buy Shipping through Seller Central and the Merchant Fulfillment API. Sellers who use Buy Shipping via the Merchant Fulfillment API will need to call Get Eligible Shipping Services API (GESS API) first, before calling CreateShipment API.

Sellers who use Buy Shipping through the Ameron API will see the discounted rate automatically. To access the Merchant Fulfillment developer API documentation, see What you should know about the Merchant Fulfillment service.

Sellers can also access the discount when using Buy Shipping through third-party shipping integrators. For more information, see Shipping integrators. Sellers do not need to make any changes to their account to access the discounted rate.
