What if I can't provide a UPC for some or all of my products?

Most products require product identifiers (EAN, UPC or JAN) to be listed on Amazon. However, you may request exemptions in some categories for products that fit into one of the following classifications.

Private label:

Non-nationally branded product on your own company's label.

Low-volume accessory part/item with a specialized function.

A business-to-business product not sold in a retail store.

Made-to-order or custom products.

In some circumstances, we can provide an exemption from UPC requirements. We look at each situation on a case-by-case basis. See UPC Exemption Process for more information.

Note: Amazon reserves the right to remove product detail pages for which a product identifier is not provided.
