Error 8124

SKU [your SKU] has too many relationships to be deleted.

This error occurs when you attempt to delete an item that is related to a large number of other items. This error applies to all relationship types, including variations and accessories. To avoid this error, you will first need to delete the relationships for this item and then delete the item itself.

If you use tab-delimited text files to manage your product data, you cannot solve this error on your own.  Please contact us for help. In your contact, please include:

• The Batch ID from your inventory file upload.  You can find the Batch ID on the Upload Products & Inventory page.
• The SKU for the item or items you want to delete.
  

If you use XML data feeds to manage your product data, you can solve this error by taking the following steps in order:

1. Submit a relationship feed that deletes the existing relationships for the item referenced in the error message.
2. Submit a product data feed that deletes the item referenced in the error message.

• The Document ID from your error report.
• The SKU for the item or items you want to delete.
