You can manage your FBA products online using tools that allow near real-time management of your inventory. Identify the listings (SKUs) you would like Amazon to fulfill for you. Listings that you fulfill can be found in the All Inventory view. Listings that Amazon fulfills can be found under the All Inventory view and Inventory Amazon Fulfills. You can create a shipment from either of these screens using the instructions below.
You can send your inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers by creating a shipment plan, packing your products, and shipping your inventory to Amazon-designated fulfillment centers using the carrier of your choice. Inventory that is sent to an Amazon fulfillment center is generally scanned and made available for sale within three business days of delivery.
Options for creating a shipment include the following:
|Send to Amazon (Beta)||For shipments packed in single-SKU cartons. This workflow allows you to create reusable packing templates to save box content information and prep/labeling selections for your SKUs, saving you time on each replenishment.|
|Send/replenish inventory||The shipment creation workflow is ideal for small orders where you can select products you sell on Amazon and convert them to be fulfilled by Amazon, or you select products that you want to replenish.|
|Shipping Plan File Upload Tool||For medium to large shipments. You upload a .csv file of your inventory created from a template we provide. The shipment is created automatically for you.|
|Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS)||For medium to large shipments. You can integrate your own inventory systems using Amazon APIs.|
Sending your products to the locations that Amazon designates for your shipment plan places your inventory closer to customers and reduces the time to deliver your orders. Not shipping your products as stated in your approved shipment plans (for example, by cancelling portions of a shipment plan after you've approved them and after you begin shipping any part of the shipping plan, misrouting shipments, or sending incomplete shipments) is not permitted and leads to additional processing and handling that can delay receipt of your inventory and its availability for sale. For more information about the FBA shipment policy and the possible actions we may take if your shipments are not compliant with that policy, see Cancelled, misrouted and incomplete shipments.
If you do not want to split your shipments to multiple destinations, you can sign up for the FBA Inventory Placement Service and send all of your eligible inventory to a single receive or fulfillment center that we designate. When the shipment arrives, we route your products to different fulfillment centers for you. A per-item service fee applies for the Inventory Placement Service.
This service, if available in the country specified by FBA, assigns each shipment you create to a specific fulfillment center, based on several factors, including the size and category of the product, your address, and other fulfillment network factors. We may split your inventory into multiple shipments going to different fulfillment centers based on a number of criteria.
