Remote Fulfillment with FBA fees

Fees for Remote Fulfillment with FBA are determined by product size and shipping weight. To calculate the fee for your product, use the size and weight tables below.

Remote Fulfillment sales incur higher fulfillment fees to account for the costs of cross-border fulfillment to Canada and Mexico. Remote Fulfillment fees apply year round and replace the standard fulfillment fees in Canada and Mexico. Standard US fulfillment fees apply for sales on Amazon.com.

Referral fees are based on the marketplace where the item was bought.

Note: Customers, not sellers, pay import duties on items purchased through Remote Fulfillment.

Calculating shipping weight

Standard-size: Add the packaging weight to the unit weight. For each unit, round up the total to the nearest whole pound.

Large standard-size items over 1 lb, small oversize, medium oversize, and large oversize: Add the packaging weight to whichever is greater: the unit weight or the dimensional weight. The dimensional weight is equal to the unit volume (length x width x height) divided by 139. For each unit, round up the total to the nearest whole pound.

Size Packaging weight

Shipping weight

(round up total to nearest whole pound)
Standard-size (1 lb or less) 4 oz Packaging weight1 + unit weight2
Standard-size (more than 1 lb) 4 oz Packaging weight + whichever is greater: unit weight or dimensional weight3
Oversize 1 lb Packaging weight + whichever is greater: unit weight or dimensional weight
Note: Unit weights, dimensions, and other measures used to calculate fees are as determined by Amazon and are subject to variations based on packaging. Dimensions may change based on packaging type.

1The packaging weight is the weight of the box and packing materials. Amazon uses these standardized weights for calculating shipping weight.

2The unit weight is the weight of an individual unit.

3For large standard-size units weighing more than 1 lb and all small oversize, medium oversize, and large oversize units, Amazon uses dimensional weight when it is greater than the unit weight.
