Selling Camera & Photo products
This article applies to selling in: United States

Selling Camera & Photo products

Sellers must meet the following requirements before listing Camera & Photo products not originally intended for sale in the U.S. (referred to here as international Camera & Photo products):

  • Amazon assumes that all products sold in the Camera & Photo category on Amazon.com are originally intended for sale in the U.S. It is the seller's responsibility to clearly identify international Camera & Photo products by adding the following phrase, verbatim, to the product titles of all such items:
    • International Version (No Warranty)
  • The term "gray market" may not be used as a designation for products not originally intended for sale in the U.S.
  • International Camera & Photo products must support English as a language option and include step-by-step instructions in English on how to change language settings.
  • All Camera & Photo products must comply with Amazon's condition guidelines, both the general guidelines and those for the Camera & Photo category.
Note: For international Camera & Photo products only, an item may be listed as "New" if it meets the following requirements:
    1. It is no longer eligible for the full manufacturer’s U.S. warranty and that fact is clearly detailed in the listing comments.
    2. It complies with all of the other condition guidelines for a "New" Camera & Photo product.
  • All international Camera & Photo products must have a U.S. compatible power plug, if applicable.
  • All international Camera & Photo products must meet North America product safety standards.
  • With limited exceptions, UPCs are required for all major brand products in the Camera & Photo category. See What if I can't provide a UPC for some or all of my products?.

You may need to obtain approval to list certain products in Camera & Photo. See Categories and products that require approval.

Bundle listing requirements

All Camera & Photo bundles must adhere to Amazon's Product Bundling Policy. Additionally, you must follow the category-specific requirements below:

Title

  • Brand must match the main/base product brand; do not use your seller name as the bundle brand.
  • Your product title should follow this naming convention:

    Main Brand + Main Model + Main Product + "Bundle with" + Product 2 + "," Product 3 + "&" Product 4 (Color, Packaging [if applicable])

Example: Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera and DIGIC 4 Imaging with EF-S 18-55mm Lens Bundle with 55-250mm Lens, DSLR Case, & 32GB Memory Card

  • Maximum title length is 150 characters.
  • Universal accessory bundles not specifically compatible with one model should not include multiple models in the title.
  • Lists of compatible models for universal accessory bundles should be included in product details, not the title.

Example of acceptable title: 52mm Outdoor Ultimate Accessory Package for Nikon DSLR Cameras and Lenses

    Example of unacceptable title: 52mm Outdoor Ultimate Accessory Package for Nikon D3100, D3200, D3300, D5100, D5200, D5300 DSLR Cameras Which Have Any Of These (18-55mm, 55-200mm, 24mm f/2.8D, 28mm f/2.8D, 35mm f/1.8G, 35mm f/2.0D, 40mm f/2.8G, 50mm f/1.4D, 50mm f/1.8D & 85mm f/3.5G) Lens

Description

  • Each product in the bundle must be identified by brand in the description.
  • The product description must state that the product is a bundle and identify the products in the bundle with appropriate designators, such as model number, color, and size.

Image

  • The main image for the bundle must include all of the exact products in the bundle. Images representing or depicting similar products are not permitted.
  • Main images must have a pure white background.
  • Main images must not show text that is not part of the product, or additional logos, watermarks, or inset images.
