We have started to see some of our items going from Active to Inactive for no reason. It started with 3 and now we are at 9 items (9 out 456) All the items have stock and are FBA . We have been selling all the items in questions for several months. We created the listing and manufacturer the items as well. Contact Amazon Support now but wanted to check to see if this has happened to anyone else??

Some items have over 50 in stock so we really dont want to create a removal order because of something that has nothing to do with us.

Others have reported this as well. It appears these units are at warehouse locations in Florida that are currently closed due to Hurricane Irma. Amazon has done this in the past when warehouses are closed temporarily; to prevent selling goods that Amazon does not have a way to ship right now. Once these locations are back up and running, the inventory will be added back to your active for sale.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I also am having these issues, and the cases I've opened have not been responded to. Seems silly that they don't put out a message to sellers with inventory in warehouses affected by the storm.

This has been happening for about 3 weeks. Items drop into stranded inventory and then 24-48 hours later they are gone. Seems to happen a lot when we sell out of items but then suddenly a pending order is cancelled or their are incomving and outgoing units.

I would recommend anyone seeing this to pull a "Stranded Inventory" report found through Seller Central > Reports > Fulfillment ...

This has a status-secondary field and an error-message field display issues from pricing alerts to actual out-of-stock.

Also ...
Inventory Event Detail for the MSKU will reveal it's FC location.

Blame Irma. Amazon says that inventory will becoming avaliable starting today, but don't hold yer breath...

I have no idea why they didn't tag all of the fla inventory with a marker to indicate the issue was with the storm. They must have gotten thousands of cases over this...

That makes sense but today I have had this happen with several items that just got to New Jersey and have not had time to get to Florida.

possibly check under "suppressed" in your "manage inventory" section. you may have some items being suppressed for image quality issues.

Welcome to FBA~! The only way to be totally ignored as a third-party seller, along with your whole inventory on Amazon. It's a pathetic condition for a multi-billion$$ Corporation to be in....Bottom-line is that it doesn't cost Amazon a single cent however! A Corporation that can offer multiple products at a 100% total loss, as a strategy to simply prevent others from making a dime in a chosen category.
