When are Amazon's business days for payment?
Do weekends count as “business days” for the 3-5 business day pay period from Amazon?
I’ve noticed that transferring money on Friday, the payment can be received on Monday. Meaning weekends may possibly count.
Can anyone verify? Thanks!

That statement is just a standard one used by most.
Amazon has no control. Once they instruct their bank to release funds it is in the hands of their bank, your bank, and probably a clearing house.
Those institutes control the process. And banks being run by bankers, will want to keep the money just as long as regulations allow (minus a small safety margin). So Amazon’s bank will keep it as long as they can, minus a few minutes. Your bank will keep it as long as they can, minus a few minutes.

Here’s my experience. Your mileage may vary depending on several factors.
I’d say about 98% of the instances when I request a transfer of my funds before about 4:15 p.m. Eastern Time on a given day, the funds are in my credit union account on the second day after that transfer request, so long as that SECOND DAY is a business day (not a weekend day or bank holiday), even if the day of the request and/or the day between is not a business day.
For example, if I request a transfer on a Monday at noon, the funds will almost always be in my account on Wednesday morning, as long as Wednesday is not a bank holiday. If I request a transfer on Thursday OR Friday OR Saturday before 4 p.m. Eastern, the funds will almost always be in my account on Monday morning, as long as Monday is not a bank holiday. A transfer request on Sunday before 4 p.m. Eastern will almost always show up on Tuesday, as long as Tuesday is not a bank holiday. A transfer request at 9 p.m. on Tuesday night will probably not show up until Friday, as long as Friday is not a bank holiday.
