Any gurus here ever had their VC account suspended by Amazon out of the blue?? if yes how long it lasted? would suspension reason ever provided in the end?
Our VC account is always in good standing, never missed the mark for warehouse/direct fulfillment, but out of the blue we were hit by a notification from Amazon telling us our account is suspended, the massage sound vague, make us believe it is temporary, but last sentence says “we may reinstate your account if circumstance changes” which almost sound like our account won’t be reinstated “if” circumstance “doesn’t change”, sad thing is we don’t even know what triggered this suspension, and provided no option nor method to appeal.
I can’t find advise anywhere on the net, so hope any of you gurus would help.
Check the vendor central group on Linkedin, something is going on with many accounts. Rumors are that Amazon is forcing a switch to seller central or closing smaller accounts (under $5 million)
Did you receive an explicit notification or did you stop receiving POs? Also, are you within 3 months of your agreements coming up for renewal?
Noticed a funny one tonight. On an item Amazon buys (or bought, if you will) from us, they are out-of-stock with the note “In stock on March 18, 2019. Order it now.” They have no POs/shipments outstanding, so they will not be in stock on March 18 or ever directly from Amazon again. May wind up with unhappy folks if they preorder.
Received notice today. Amazon will resume ordering following a temporary pause. We apologize for any inconvenience.
6 POs overnight, so the logjam is broken for us.
Same, 10 POs last night, but our DF isn’t working no more, that used to be our bread and butter before the suspension
So it looks like some are getting POs and others are getting DF. Is anyone getting BOTH?
We got our first DF order today. Still no regular POs. Pretty hopeful at this point after hearing about other vendors receiving their orders. Fingers crossed.
