What is changing?
On November 3, 2020, Amazon will update its Communications Guidelines policy. These changes include guidance on permitted message types, appropriate content, and stylistic features for clearer communication with buyers. One of the new requirements is that proactive messages from sellers match the buyer’s language of preference (LOP).

Developers with applications that help sellers send and manage proactive messaging with buyers are affected by this change.
What action is required?
If you have an application that is affected by this change, be sure to update it so that it complies with the new Communications Guidelines policy by November 3, 2020.
