Hello, Amazon Sellers!

As we gear up for the holiday shopping season, let's take a moment to talk turkey—or maybe not turkey at all! I'm curious about your thoughts on Thanksgiving cuisine, and I want to stir the gravy boat a little.

Here's my burning question: What do you think is the most overrated Thanksgiving food item?

Is it the classic green bean casserole that always seems to have more mushroom soup than actual vegetables? Perhaps it's the cranberry sauce that comes out of the can with those distinctive ridges intact. Or maybe—dare I say it—you think the revered turkey itself doesn't live up to the hype?

For me, I'd have to go with stuffing. I've had just about every iteration of it I can find, and it all just tastes like soggy bread to me - I don't get it!

False counterfeit claims without test buy.

I have a third party seller who is stating that we are selling a counterfeit item which is an AMANA Distinctions PTAC. I have submitted invoices, our manufacturer rep information, parent company information to verify with manufacturer. We sometimes get reinstatement for an item and sometimes don't. We sell a large volume through other platforms and decided to add them on Amazon.

What's concerning is the seller (third party like us) that is filing the counterfeit without test buy is submitting a false trademark number and Amazon is not investigating it. Sometimes it's their LOGO TRADEMARK which is not AMANA or it's the item ASIN. But nobody checks the trademark and takes their word for it. I don't know if this is BRAND REGISTRY that looks at the APPEAL but they are not doing due diligence and allowing third party sellers to damage other third party sellers against Amazon Policy. Is this not a policy anymore?

I have 13 CASES regarding this and went to report abuse multiple times, and tried to submit seller to seller abuse multiple times and not able to get anywhere, the fields either don't work: such as ORDER ID = NA or I get an email response stating a claim can't be filed because there are no claims? What?

OFF TOPIC KINDA-

I have in the past had trademarks submitted through a different company which I own and had Amazon state they needed a letter of authorization and invoice to prove I owned it. So I wrote a letter to myself and submitted an invoice to myself and they said they needed more information because they couldn't verify I owned it. I think I even submitted my driver's license with other documentation. I believe their BRAND REGISTRY has major, major issues that is hurting companies and need to be addressed.

My brand registry application is decline multiple times. i have been given 5 possible reasons mention below. please note that my UK and EU market region seller account is deactivated. but, I am registering this new brand in USA market. both US and UK seller accounts are owned by us of course but with separate companies and separate login email. does this make any difference? or amazon still consider it as deactiavted since the other market is deactivated, amazon wont allow us to register any new brand in US market as well. Our US market including Canada and mexico are in good health. our product images are also good as it shows brand affixed both on product and packaging parmanently.

please shed some light on it. as this is the only reason out of 5 that I could think of leading to decline of application.

Why did this happen?

This decision was made due to one or more of the following reasons:

a) your account was engaging in conduct that violates Brand Registry’s policies, such as, but not limited to, invalid notice submissions through our notice submission channels or tampering with the catalog;

b) your application or account is related to other Amazon accounts or brands that have violated Amazon or Brand Registry’s policies,

c) you are associated with one or more selling accounts as a primary owner and all of them have failed seller verification,

d) inability to provide sufficient evidence of branding on products/packaging;

e) you have a selling account that is de-activated, or f) your trademark application appears to be filed by a filing firm that may be violating US federal regulations and USPTO rules (explained below).

Our seller Feedback rating is 3.6 all the time, product review 4.0 on average, we sell 600-800 units a month and all other criteria is fullfiled but still we are not getting deal recommendations.

Cancelling refunds

Has anyone else had issues when trying to cancel a refund? We accidentally refunded an order and immediately went to cancel it but we kept getting the " try again later " error and seller support was no help. This has happen 3 times now in the past 2 weeks.

Refund At First Scan for $100 order

I recently have had two orders refund at first scan for orders that were $100 or over. Previous months those amount totals were never refund at first scan. Why all the sudden is amazon allowing this? $100 was the base, after tax order was $107, on both orders. I thought 100$ was the threshold that was not to be refund at first scan?

Asin still blocked after retracted TRO

Hi, looking for some advice. I received a TRO start of Oct, Amazon froze my payments and blocked the Asin. My attorney contacted the plaintiff and they withdrew the case against us as we are the actual copyright owners, the plaintiff emailed me a copy of the voluntary dismissal. Amazon unfroze the funds but the Asin is still blocked.

I can still see on the Amazon product policy compliance page , it still says copyright complaint. I have even tried submitting the 'submit new information' to send the counter-notice dcma several times but Amazon keeps rejecting it.

I have contacted Amazon several times to unblock the Asin but they keep saying they have not received any retraction notification from the plaintiff. I asked why they unfroze my funds, and they said because they reviewed the complaint and it doesn't warrant the funds to be frozen so they released the funds but not the Asin. Can they just release the funds only?

My attorney asked the plaintiff to re-contact Amazon and inform them again that all claims against me have been released and to release my Asin but still no success yet with Amazon. I have asked Amazon support to escalate this and explain the situation but the Amazon support staff who I speak to seems to think they are waiting for a retraction notification. Is there anything I can do?

Dear Amazon Support Team,

My Amazon Japan seller account was deactivated on October 19, 2024. Despite submitting the required documents multiple times and ensuring that my business model complies with Amazon policies, the Amazon Japan account health team has failed to verify my documents. I completed a virtual identity verification on November 13, 2024, and received a message on November 15, 2024, stating that my identity verification was successful. However, it has been a week and there has been no update from the Amazon Japan account health team; my account remains deactivated.

I submitted a support request a few days ago under Case ID: 2909502243. The instructions directed me to appeal my Amazon USA seller account. Today, the Amazon USA account health team advised me to appeal to the Amazon Japan account health team. Please help, as both teams are directing me to each other, and there seems to be no one who can resolve this issue.

I am asking for urgent help!
