While trying to access my seller account from my full time job, I told two-step to “recognize” my computer. I then had an alert show up on my computer and an instant call from IT. I explained what I was doing and they said their security software was showing a “tracker” was attempting to be placed in their system that might have a “key-stroke” and traffic recorder. They had stopped two-step from activating. I was able to keep my job when I showed them and they verified that I was ONLY on the amazon seller page. I even showed them that it was only suppose to be a “cookie”. They said their software was saying it was more than that and asked me to keep from looking at my seller account at work. My bank “recognizes” my work computer and never caused this problem.
Has anyone else ran into this? I don’t know what security software my company uses. I only know it is not one you buy online or at Walmart. The software may also be ultra-sensitive due to who I work for.
