No big deal, but I think you are making some faulty assumptions. Official Amazon posters have an avatar like this:
The official amazon MWS posters answer very few questions in the forums, and are here mostly to keep order and post in the MWS Knowledge Base sections.
Oneida Books and posters like buildcom volunteer quite a bit of their time helping their future competitors up a hill that they climbed alone (and with probably far fewer tools than available today) They obviously understand what it feels like to be stumped, or they wouldn’t be here helping.
I apologize for picking on your post, but I a have a few comments strictly from a time efficiency point of view:
- It is always more time efficient to walk away and rethink minor issues than to ask for support, informal or the paid kind.
- When you do ask for help, it would be more time efficient for everyone if you would include enough information to provide ANY basis for an answer. I couldn’t even make a wild guess from your post without more info.
- Urgency is not infectious. You cannot expect the world to speed up because you have poor scheduling expectations.
- Most importantly: the more people answer, the quicker questions will get answered. Some posters ask far more questions than they give answers. Some posters only come here when they have a question. Some posters never follow up and provide the answer they found on their own so that others coming up behind them don’t have to struggle with it.
