We currently have 68 listings restricted because Amazon says they are children's jewelry. They are NOT children's jewelry. They were not manufactured as children's jewelry. They are not marketed as children's jewelry. They would not even FIT a child.

Appeals land on deaf ears and blind eyes. One of our managers called Amazon and was told it was because of GIRL being used in our title. Even if we were willing to remove our brand from the title (which we are not), Amazon doesn't allow that.

Several years ago, I emailed Jeff Bezos directly about an unrelated issue that we were up against a brick wall on, and he was able to resolve the matter almost immediately. That option is no longer available, of course, but why isn't there an escalation process for something like this?

Mods, can you help us (and the many other third-party sellers having the same problem)?

Shipping Companies Gouging
by Seller_Y262O9Ep3I1RD
in group

Nice to see the shipping companies gouging everyones eyes out for the holidays. Meanwhile we are suppose to offer ''FREE'' shipping to cover for them. It's time to start charging shipping again! Why should we build it in to our prices and look like the bad guys?? People need to start seeing what these thieves actually charge. Enough is enough already.

I am writing this post with a heavy heart, as Amazon has left me in a state of frustration and worry for over 10 days now. Our shipment, valued between 10,000and20,000, has gone missing, and despite opening a CASE with their customer service center and submitting all the requested documents, we have received absolutely no response from Amazon.

It's beyond frustrating to be left in the dark like this, with no communication regarding whether an investigation has even begun, or how long it might take to reach a conclusion. These goods were not just a simple purchase; they represented a significant investment for our business, and the silence from Amazon is only adding to our financial and emotional stress.

I understand that investigations can take time, but isn't it reasonable to expect some level of communication from a company like Amazon, especially when dealing with such high-value cargo? We deserve to know if our claim is being taken seriously, and when we can expect a resolution.

How long does it typically take for Amazon to investigate and issue compensation for lost shipments? More importantly, why is it so difficult to get a straightforward answer from Amazon regarding the status of our claim?

I'm not asking for special treatment; I'm just asking for transparency and accountability. We need to know where our shipment is, or if it's truly lost, when we can expect to receive compensation. It's been 10 days, and the silence is deafening. Amazon, can you please step up and provide us with some answers?

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope that together, we can push for better customer service and communication from Amazon.

Mine is at 93% OTDR Rate

My OTDR Dashboard says 1.3 Promise Days added

Yet, on the ASIN page, the customers is seeing 4 ship days added.

What is everyone elses OTDR % at?

What is your Dashboard saying for promise days added?

And how many days are you seeing added on your ASIN page to customers?

We can get some stats together and figure out what percent Amazon is padding our delivery days

Curious if anyone is 97% and above and still seeing padded delivery dates too

Opinion on Ads vs Great Pricing?
by Seller_BYn3ICHDweKIc

Basically, we are just sick and tired of paying Amazon ridiculous fees, especially Ad fees to garner any kind of visibility. We've been here a long time, something like 14 years. And in that time, we've always utilized the Ads. In the past years, they were beneficial in that they weren't what seems to be the "main part of the search" within Amazon; as organic sales were usually around 70% of sales. Now things have changed, and ads seem to be at least 50% if not more of sales. And with that, ad fees are ridiculous. On top of that, sales have dropped so drastically all around that it's not feasable to scale the business on a larger scale to make sense of running ads. On top of on TOP of that, we have to price products higher to support an ad budget. In the end, the customer loses with higher priced items.

I guess my question for all, but especially for those who stopped using ads, is that if we deflate pricing to the absolute best possible because we no longer have the ad budget, how will products sell organically? We could have incredible pricing if we could stop getting gouged through ad spend and coupon fees, etc.........but I'm worried that Amazon's organic search alogorithm is so jacked up now, that it won't matter. That basically it doesn't matter what you price things at, Amazon is going to require the Ad Heroin (pay to play) money they're addicted to. Hope this makes sense. Thanks all~

It does not cover your sales quantity or volume
by Seller_0xdtD36hDLHBC

Can anyone advise on this?

A customer contacted me about an item. It was temporary hair color spray. I've sold hundreds of these over the years. Sometimes, people forget to shake them and the propellant comes out and the color stays in the can. I suspect that is what happened here as she said...

"customer wanted a refund for the hair spray since its supposed to be green but when she tried to use it, it was clear and doesn't turn green. "

Anyway, I was glad to accept the return. Now, the customer contacted Amazon customer service and customer service dictated the word "counterfeit". So, I think, no problem. Submit my invoices. Twice I have received this message...

In the past 365, I sold 27 of this particular color. I sent in invoices showing 24 purchased during the 365 days prior to the "complaint" (10/24/23-10/24/24). Then I sent in another invoice from 9/20/2024. I'm guessing that they are not accepting the 9/20/23 invoice since it is only than a year. BUT we were sold out from 7/25/24 to 9/6/24. So, the one that was sold on 10/24/24 was NOT from the 9/20/23 invoice.

Any ideas. Am I doing something wrong with my appeal? How do I explain this to the person reviewing the case? Or do I just keep submitting and hoping someone that has a brain reviews it?

WHAT THE HELL AMAZON
by Seller_1OCFuKHyd1L24

I recieved an email a month ago stating "we confirmed that your Amazon seller account has been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity that harms our customers, other selling partners, and our store" causing a deactivation of my account. I have submitted my Letter of Authorization, Invoices and Credit Card Statements but still no result .I have been resubmitting everyday in the account health page and get no response I have to check back everyday and look where it says "our evaluation is complete" and my account is still deactivated without any reasoning. Can someone please explain what is actually going on and what do I really need to submit as I have the necessary documents I just do not know which one?

Dear Team,

A few days ago, on November 12, 2024, I received an email notifying me of the deactivation of my account due to authenticity concerns regarding my product (ASIN: B002K0NQYU, Brand: ELTRON). Following this, I submitted an appeal in Seller Central on November 13, 2024, at 12:42 PM PST, including the Brand Letter of Authorization and the original paid invoice to verify the authenticity of the inventory.

The inventory was purchased directly from the brand and sold under an offer listing, as per Amazon's guidelines. I have upload 3 times original invoice and LOA from issued the Brand direct but got rejected every time.

I kindly request you to review my appeal or help me to contact with Higher department for that issue.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I greatly appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

Best regards,

Sohail Farooq

Hello,

I am based in EU - Czech Republic, but I am selling in the USA through FBA. I am also sole proprietor (do not have llc) do I still need to be VAT registered in my country? I am writing this in regard to DAC7. I had tried to fill the column for VAT registration to use my personal tax identification number (TIN)...but then I got message I have an invalid VAT.

Do I need to be VAT registered as a sole proprietor?

Thank you
